Roots & Early Inspiration

I am Andria Andreou, a Cypriot artist born and raised in the picturesque village of Gourri, where the tranquility of nature and the warmth of a close knit community profoundly shaped my creative spirit. My artistic journey is a continuous dialogue between cultures, emotions, and experiences woven together through my travels and explorations. For nearly 15 years, I have refined my craft at the Nicolas Panayi Art Studio in Nicosia, immersing myself in various techniques that allow me to channel the depth of my emotions and evolving identity onto canvas.

Beyond my artistic pursuits, my academic background in Engineering has profoundly influenced my creative process. The precision, analytical thinking, and structural harmony found in engineering seamlessly connect with my artistic expression, enabling me to experiment with form, composition, and balance in a way that is both intentional and dynamic.
